Before Generate, Jonah led Breakthrough Energy, a network founded by Bill Gates including investment funds, nonprofit and philanthropic programs, and policy efforts linked by a common commitment to scale the technologies we need to achieve a path to net zero emissions by 2050.
Sarah Goodman
President and CEO of the B.C. Centre for Innovation and Clean Energy
Sarah Goodman is an executive and climate policy expert known for her ability to work across sectors to drive climate action and sustainable economic opportunities. Prior to her appointment at CICE, she was a Partner at the Boston Consulting Group (BCG), where she advised leading companies and governments around the world on advancing climate solutions and green industrial policy.
Parham Peiroo

Parham is a Partner in Boston Consulting Group’s Principal Investor & Private Equity and Climate and Sustainability practices. He is part of BCG’s leadership team on the fund strategy and operations and climate tech topics.
Sarah Applebaum

Sarah brings more than a decade of venture capital and company-building experience to the team. Sarah has cultivated expertise in building entrepreneurial teams, scaling early-stage ventures, and venture financing. Sarah is an active mentor to early-stage entrepreneurs and a startup community activator and advocate.

A long-time Bay Area executive and investor, Marty Reed moved to Vancouver in 2015 to launch Evok Innovations, a novel approach to corporate innovation, that integrates Silicon Valley start-up culture and venture capital into existing R&D / innovation efforts. Marty leads the firm’s efforts on strategy, team building and investments.
Erin Flanagan

Todd Sayers

Todd has over two decades of experience working in energy systems across value chains connecting customers and suppliers. Todd has led small teams to extraordinary results and is passionate about the energy transition opportunity as well as taking the challenges head on to expedite innovation in affordable, secure, low carbon energy solutions for BC and the world.
Kari Montrichard
Manager, Capacity Products at BC Hydro
Kari Montrichard started as a summer student at BC Hydro in 1998 with the Community team. Kari has more than 15 years of experience in energy efficiency program management. Since 2022, Kari has led a team that is focused on delivering capacity solutions at systems and localized levels. Her team is responsible for all demand response programs at BC Hydro in all sectors (residential, commercial, and industrial) and non-wire alternative solutions. Kari has a Bachelor of Business with a marketing concentration.
Keith Mayhew
Director, Decarbonization and Innovation at Teck Resources
Keith has over 20 years of commercial and technology leadership experience within Teck, focused on mineral processing, metallurgy and decarbonization. He has a Masters of Engineering degree in Mining from UBC and a GDBA from Simon Fraser University. Currently Keith manages Teck’s Decarbonization & Innovation teams and is focused on Teck’s pathway to reduce the carbon intensity of operations by 33% by 2030.
Erin Bradley
Business Integration & Decarbonization Manager at Shell Canada
Erin Bradley has 25 years’ experience in the energy industry in Canada and globally. She brings the benefit of her broad knowledge and experience in bioenergy, renewable power, hydrogen, conventional gas, and LNG.
Ben Goodier
Head of Bio-Innovation at Canfor
Ben Goodier leads a team of innovators reimagining the forest sector in a carbon constrained world. His work to deliver greater value from its biogenic carbon includes acting as a Board Director and overseeing Canfor’s interest in Arbios Biotech, which is commercializing a first-of-kind biofuel technology. With more than 20 years’ experience in transformation strategies, Ben has held production roles within pulp and paper mills, advisory roles as a consultant, and most recently leadership roles at Canfor.
