LOW CARBON HYDROGEN
Enabling hard-to-decarbonize industries to reach net-zero and beyond
CICE funding for low carbon hydrogen projects
With more than 50% of Canada’s hydrogen and fuel-cell companies in B.C., the province is well positioned to be a global leader in hydrogen and fuel cell technology. CICE funds innovative, low carbon hydrogen solutions related:
- Low carbon intensity hydrogen production pathways such as electrolysis, biomass gasification and steam methane reforming
- Hydrogen fuel cell technology and energy conversion systems
- Hydrogen solutions for decarbonizing hard-to-abate sectors such as heavy industry and transportation
- Hydrogen as a feedstock for industrial processes
- Hydrogen infrastructure development and energy storage
- Hydrogen for power generation and heating
- TOTAL PROJECT FUNDING
- INVESTMENT BY CICE
